Seat Button

The seat button is a multi-function button used for the following purposes.

1. Receive Cards

The seat button is pressed down so that seat receives cards or pressed again to take it out of play.

2. Automatic or Manual Player

You have the choice of whether the seat is played automatically for you by Learn-To-Count BlackJack™ using the default Basic Strategy or manually controlled by you. The manual mode coupled with the Easy Learning option is suitable when you want to learn the Basic Strategy. The automatic mode is very good when you are first learning how to count as you don't have to worry about making decisions and so you can concentrate on the counting process. When you are confident with counting you can use the manual mode to practice using Basic Strategy together with counting.

To set automatic or manual player mode you use the options dialog screen.

3.Score

The face of the button is used to show the score as the hand is being played.

If the cards are split then the button is replaced by another scoring layout in order to fit information for up to three splits.

4. Result

After the dealer is finished the result of the hand is shown on the button.

Betting

There are many ways to place bets so that you can experiment to find which method suits you best.

1. If a seat is clicked then the number of chips that have been entered in the "Auto place bets" option are bet for that seat.

2. If a seat has already been clicked then the bet can be altered by either clicking one of the "0 1 2 5" boxes which adds chips to the "Chips bet" box or manually entering a number into the "Chips bet" box.

3. The bet button quickly places bets on multiple seats depending on the "Bet Button" options selected.
